Dream Interpretation

Lately I have been thinking a lot about the future, and what I want to do with my life. (hint: travel!) It's a little stressful, a little frustrating, and extremely nerve racking! Apparently I'm worrying about it more than I realize though, because I've been dreaming about it! I have dreamed about pretty much EVERY possible outcome in life. Living my dream, getting married, divorced, widowed, having kids, marrying my best friend (probably the least likely), having kids, not having kids. . . Every. Possible. Outcome. I always remember my dreams very vividly, sometimes word for word, so I looked into it.
I assumed dreaming about the future was just me freaking out, and I took everything very literal. After googling some things, I'm not sure what to think. . .

Widow: loss, sadness, change in consciousness.
Divorce: freeing and redemption of long torture. (hahaha!)
Marriage: luck, profit, very big joy.

This is one of those times Google is not my friend, like when I'm sick and end up on WebMD.

What do you think about dream interpretations?

Also, I didn't post a quote yesterday because I thought I had something scheduled. (guess not) Here's this weeks quote.

"Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." - Albert Einstein

Taking it One Step at a Time

  Happy Monday everyone!
This weeks quote is one I've have been looking at for awhile now. When i'm frustrated, or overwhelmed, or just had a bad day, this gives me that little bit of strength or inspiration I need for the rest of the day.

 LET'S NOT
TRY TO
FIGURE
OUT EVERY-
THING AT
ONCE (:

Life is tough, and it sucks sometimes. We need to remember that we're not supposed to do everything at once. Life is meant to be a journey. Everyday is a lesson.

10 to Zen pt 2

*Here is yesterdays quote for the week. The second part of 10 to Zen from last week.

6. Let go of worrying.
-Worrying is something I do A LOT. It adds more stress than needed. Try your best not to worry about things this week.

7. Let go of blame.
   - Blaming yourself for something and taking responsibility for your actions are two very different things. You DO want to take responsibility for things, but don't blame yourself for things that are/were out of your control.

8. Let go of guilt.
    - This goes along with #7

9. Let go of fear.
    - Life is about taking chances, and risks! Fear will keep you from great experiences.

And number 10 speaks for itself.

10. Have a proper belly laugh at least once a day, (esp. if it's about your inability to let go of any or all of the above.)

Have a great week everyone!

10 to Zen

I found a picture on Pinterest in the Quotes section titled 10 to Zen.(Here's the link to the post I found: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/182958803585382550/) So to start your week I'm going to go over 5 of the points in the picture.

1. Let go of comparing.
- Don't compare yourself to other people, don't compare your successes to others successes, don't compare your spaghetti to someone else's spaghetti. You are YOU and you're perfect how you are. Comparing is only going to upset you.

2. Let go of competing.
- This goes along with #1. Don't make your life a competition. Your actions should be for you and only you. Not to please someone else, or to do better than someone else. (this does not include the Olympics, competitive sports, and dancing.)

3. Let go of judgments.
- Don't worry about what other people think!! I cannot stress this enough, once you stop worrying about how you look or what people think about you, your life will change. You'll be able to have more fun, and you'll be happier.(:

4. Let go of anger.
- Holding onto grudges and being angry is not going to do anything but hurt you.

5. Let go of regrets.
- I know this can be hard, as can everything on this list, but it's important. You obviously can't do anything to change the past. Whether it's a missed chance or a bad decision. The best thing to do is to learn from it.

I'll go over the other 5 points next Monday. I hope you all have a great week!

VlogBrothers & Crash Course

I have been watching the VlogBrothers for about a year now, and every time I watch a video I learn something new. If you don't know who the VlogBrothers are, they are John and Hank Green. You might have heard of John from his books "Looking for Alaska", and "The Fault in Our Stars". Great books, you should read them. (He has more, but those are my favorite) They have a YouTube channel called VlogBrothers, where they take turns making vlogs about whatever they feel compelled to talk about. They also have a channel called Crash Course, where they make short educational lessons.

Out of boredom I decided to start watching Crash Course. I started with chemistry, because I was struggling with some of the topics that require more memorizing. In ten minutes I understood a topic that a week in class couldn't teach me. It was so much easier to watch this ten minute video than to scour the internet for ways to memorize the information, and eventually just looking up the answers.

I highly highly  recommend Crash Course for anyone having trouble with something in class. And of course you should all watch VlogBrothers because they are amazing!!
